True Star journalist Cierra Lemott (far left) was recently honored by the Chicago Sky during a WNBA game at Winstrust Arena. Lemott, a Columbia College sophomore, was recognized for her strong leadership, influence and educational success. Other awardees that night include International Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority President Dr. Glenda Glover, former True Star Instructor/Radio Personality Bioné Foxx, and Chicago State University President Zaldwaynaka “Z” Scott. Also in attendance was Brittany Wright, Director of Communications for International Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and True Star alum Nathanael Cole, CEO/Founder P&N Eventz and Logistics LLC, Genesis One Twenty-Seven, LLC, and Business Consultant for Chicago Sky and Sky Cares.
