Global Mixx was one for the books and definitely an experience you would want to have in the future. Global Mixx, a three-day event, kicked off Friday and ended Sunday, but Saturday was the day you wish you never missed. Global Mixx kicked off at Midway Marriott Hotel starting at 9am. This year Global Mixx featured different panels that covered a variety of topics including social media, film, the music industry and much more.
Some key panelists showed up and people were hyped about Chicago influncers Korporate, Big Twon, Teezy, Christal Luster, Trevonte Rhodes, Star Gadson, Briahna Gatlin, Vonzell Scott, Tahronda, Kosine, Syleena Johnson, Christine Swanson and True Star’s own Sullivan Grace.
Each panel lasted about an hour, except for Kosine who hosted a three-hour panel on beat making and how to get placements and show some short documentaries. Kosine also gave us snippets of some unreleased songs from different artists with the biggest being Usher.
After all the panels finished, we then went to the Music side of things. Global Mixx, in partnership with From the Go Fest, held a competition to see who can put on the best performance. From the Go was able to have four artists participate, including Z Saj, Zion Ali, Deon Alphanzo, and Khari Ennui. All artist put on a good show.
