Trump is at it again, crossing the line as usual. In one of his recent tweets he mocked 16-year-old environmental activist, Greta Thunberg who delivered an emotionally driven speech at a meeting with the United Nations at the Climate Action Summit earlier this week. Thunberg called out world leaders about their refusal to acknowledge and understand that climate change is an ACTUAL ISSUE!
In her speech Thunberg stated with disgust, “How dare you. You have stolen my dreams and my childhood.” Trump of course took this time to do his favorite thing… tweet.
She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see! https://t.co/1tQG6QcVKO

Can we all be honest? This tweet was flat out disrespectful. He literally is mocking a teenage girl who should be in school learning but instead traveled halfway across the world to deliver a speech to a room full of adults who act like they don’t understand that the world we’re living in is dying.
As Thunberg stated herself, “Young people are starting to wake up.” The Climate Change Strike that took place worldwide is a perfect example of our generation taking matters into their own hands. It’s sad to see that instead of handling the conflict at hand and generating bills that could help stabilize climate change before it becomes completely irreversible, the only thing Trump can do is mess with a teenager who’s doing more for the environment than he’s done in his almost four years in office.
