Will We See New Mandela County Eps in October?

A scene from Vol. 1 of Alex Kister’s horror series “The Mandela Catalogue.”

The YouTube analog horror darling, The Mandela Catalogue, and its creator Alex Kister, have potentially big plans to come.

In case you don’t know, the Mandela Catalogue is a internet horror series that is posted as videos in “volumes,” each following its own story that is set in Mandela County, a small American district, that is dealing with a religious demonic scourge by aliens known as Alternates. These aliens take the form of other people and affect all mannerisms of technology and reflections. They spread through this way.

This project has been incredibly well-received. Kister, the young aspiring filmmaker, is a brilliant mind when it comes to fractured storytelling and genuinely bone-chilling content. Kister says that the series for now is taking a hiatus, but in between most volumes are little short videos that take place within the same world. Most volumes usually take about two months to finish, so we may see something big for the spooky upcoming month of October!

Kister also stated via Twitter that he’s working on other projects, some that may stray away from horror. I’m very excited for what he has in store for us.

You can watch the series on its official channel completely for free!
