Will You Be At Lollapalooza?

For all my readers who missed getting beamed down on by the Chicago summer rays, buying snacks that remind you of the “Taste of Chicago,” and having sweat on your body that may not even be yours–your favorite Chicago summer festival, Lollapalooza, is back.

For weeks, there’s been massive speculation about whether this beloved Chicago event would return for the summer. And much to fans’ eager surprise, the festival’s lineup and tickets were released this past Wednesday. Tickets went on sale at noon on the Lollapalooza website and by that evening all the four-day passes were sold out. However, the event this year will have strict COVID-19 guidelines.

According to abc7chicago.com, “To attend Lollapalooza you either will need to be fully vaccinated or you will need to provide a negative test for every day that you are planning to attend,” said Dr. Allison Arwady, Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner. “So the easiest way by far if you want to attend Lollapalooza is to get vaccinated now.” Additionally, much to my surprise, the festival will be maxed to the full capacity. Personally, I won’t be attending the event unless I’m in the V.I.P section or have a backstage media pass, so if you are in General Admission; please be masked up if you’re not vaccinated.

Once the lineup officially released on all social media platforms with a teaser video to build the festival’s suspense, fans were raving about the A-listed artists that they’re expected to see. With headliners such as Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Tyler the Creator, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion and more, Lollapalooza seems to be coming back with a bang for their epic fans. Even seeing Miley Cyrus as a headliner was a shocker as this should be her first time ever performing for this festival.

According to chicagotribune.com, “additional details on the festival and its entry process will be released in early July.” So, if you missed the initial ticket sales or protocol guideline information for the event, stay tuned for the details that are soon to come! Also, there will be resale tickets available coming closer to the event.

Hi! I can eat an entire jar of pickles in one setting and I LOVE to binge watch shows on Netflix. One of the most important quotes to me:
