Willow Goes Rock

Willow Smith

I know y’all always looking for new music to listen to and as always you know I got you. If you’ve been on Twitter or any music streaming platform you know that Willow Smith has dropped some new music. Her new single “Transparent Soul” features pop punk band blink-182’s drummer Travis Barker backing her up on drums.

“Transparent Soul” is an upbeat rock song that’s sure to get you jumping around your room. It’s like if Paramore was fused with the style of Left Eye from TLC and just a mix of 90s aesthetic. The visuals alone are colorful and help immerse you in the song.

Willow has always been one to evolve her sound with every new era and each time it’s always a hit. It’s no surprise that the youngest of the Smith clan has gone rock ‘n’ roll. She’s literally the alternative Black girl we’ve been asking for in the community. I’m glad she’s getting more hype (some thanks to her song “Wait A Minute” released back in 2015 on her debut album ARDIPTHECUS).

Fans are excited for Willow’s new era. People flooded Twitter to hype up her new song. Some said things like, “Willow Smith making rock music??? Oh a lot of people should be scared…” It even gained recognitions from artists like Vince Staples who tweeted, “That new Willow Smith bang in the Tesla.”

If you haven’t streamed the single yet you better go do it. Are you excited for Willow’s new era? Let us know with an emoji!
