Today, Tuesday, December 3, is Giving Tuesday, a day designed to be filled with charitable giving of funds and volunteering of time which takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
True Star has been around for 20 years and has used its impact and platform to elevate Chicago youth. We’ve helped thousands of Chicago youth with finding their voice and using it. Now we’re asking for your help so that we can continue to positively impact lives across the city. True Star is going to Sprint into 2025 by driving opportunities for empowering youth, literally.
The goal is to raise money so we’re able to purchase a Sprinter van to help with transportation challenges as well as moving equipment from place to place. Research indicates almost 30 percent of Chicago youth deal with transportation obstacles, and the young, talented members of True Star are no exception.
All support makes a difference and brings us one step closer to reaching our goal for the new year. This Giving Tuesday, donate to True Star Media, a great and worthy cause where youth voices are amplified and empowered. Happy holidays!
