Black Promoters Collective returns to Chicago again to bring R&B lovers together. They’ve brought us recent shows such as Kash Doll, The Millennium Tour, and their upcoming tour The Queens, which will feature legends Chaka khan, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills. Recently, BPC presented to us October London’s headline tour Calling All Lovers. This show was amazing and everything we wanted it to be.

Ro James

The sold out show took place at the Chicago Theater and kicked off at 7pm with R&B singer Ro James who is responsible for hits songs such as Permission, Burn Slow and Already knew that. James did a great job preparing the audience for more that was to come. Next to take the stage was Tamar Braxton. She showcased her vocal skills by hitting many high notes and adding a little live concert razzle dazzle to her songs. Braxton performed hit songs The One, Love and War and All the Way Home. The songstress also did a tribute to her late sister Traci Braxton who passed away in March of 2022.

Tamar Braxton

Last to hit the stage was the one and only October London. Before London showed off his talents he played a unreleased song only for Chicago called Click Flash which resembled R. Kelly’s Backyard Party mixed with Red Carpet (Pause Flash). London was very smooth throughout his performance and the crowd loved it. London performed the songs Make Me Wanna, Midnight Love Affair, Rollercoaster, and ended with his hit Back to Your Place. October was amazed by how Chicago showed up and showed out to the point, he stayed on the stage to admire the crowd before his conclusion. It’s fair to say all the R&B lovers left feeling satisfied.
