Last week, the NBA dropped the shocking news, Green, the heart of the Warriors, was suspended indefinitely for striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face. The league, taking into account Green’s “repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts,” left fans speculating on when they’ll witness Green’s on-court theatrics again.

Many basketball fans had their opinion on the matter but, Johnson College Prep student and NBA enjoyer Dantrell Hobbs shared his unfiltered opinion, stating, “Yea he definitely deserves it after all the things he’s piled up.” Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, weighed in on the suspension as well, stating, “I think the suspension makes sense.” For Kerr, it’s not just about basketball; it’s about giving Green the chance to step away and make a change in his approach and life. It’s a challenge, and according to Kerr, not an easy one.
The suspension of Green has given a new sense of unpredictability to the rest of the Golden State Warriors season. As the team faces the challenges of his absence, many wonder if he will be back to play another game? Will Green’s timeout be a deal-breaker for the Warriors, or will his return bring a new sense of intensity to the court? Only time will tell in this wild 23-24 NBA season.
