Some of the artists that were participating came from all over the country. Artists from the Richard Beavers Gallery were Frank Morrison, Honestly Speaking, Lynthia Edwards, Beaded Crown, and Leroy Champbell, Family Wealth.  The Bill Hodges Gallery artists  were Elizabeth Catlett, Mahlon, Hank Willis Thomas, Hang Time, Norman Lewis, Untitled 1951, and Beauford Delaney, Untitled 1968.
