The Sky recently faced off against the Minnesota Lynx and some familiar faces returned to the Wintrust with Courtney Williams, Alana Smith, and Sika Kone who all signed with the Lynx this past off-season. The game kicked off at 2pm and the Lynx came off hot going on a 7-0 start.

The Sky eventually battled back and ended the first quarter 24-16. Once the second quarter started it was an all out battle as Minnesota fought their way back and made the game closer. The second quarter ended 39-34 with the Sky being up at the half.

The Sky and the Lynx both put up a hard fought fight in the third, but it wasn’t until the Fourth quarter were the Lynx would take the Sky down. The Sky only scored five points in the fourth causing them to lose 70-62 dropping the Sky down to 6-11.
