Event- AKArama 2017- Tickets Available Now

The AKArama Foundation, Incorporated of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®, Theta Omega Chapter seeks to make a difference in the Chicagoland community by providing service programs to address the needs of the community and awarding scholarships to deserving students.

• The AKArama Foundation, Incorporated was established in 1981 by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Theta Omega Chapter.
• In the 36 years since its inception we have generated funds for community programs and scholarships totaling over a half of million dollars.
• Each year we have an annual fundraising drive that culminates in our AKArama Gala.
• AKArama 2017 will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, IL, 151 E Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
• Our theme is LIft Off to Planet AKArama and the gala will be 6 pm -12 am
• The event features a cocktail reception, dinner dance, silent art auction, entertainment and casino.
• The donation is $115 per person
• Anyone can support the event with a ticket purchase, buying raffle tickets, placing an ad in our souvenir journal or making a donation.
