I’m going to see Mariah Carey in July while I’m in Las Vegas, so my friend made me a playlist of Mariah Carey songs that were either before our time or just forgotten Mariah bops.
“Sweetheart” is definitely one of them. As soon as I heard this song, I had to rewind it because it’s so good. I can say that this song is pretty timeless, in both ways.
I listen to a whole lotta new music because I can definitely appreciate a good song from way back when. This song just feels fresh and like good weather.
BTW, Life in 1472 is an amazing album.
