White Sox Vs. Cubs

Cubs vs White Sox

Monday 6/18, 8:10 PM ET at U.S. Cellular Field

Usually, I’d be so disappointed in my city and the fact that Chicago is one of the most segregated cities in America… BUT when it comes to my baseball? There’s only two words that matter; 2 words, 1 side: SOUTH SIDE.

That’s right, today the Chicago White Sox (south side for those of you who don’t know) and Chicago Cubs (…..not south side, but north side) begin their 3 game series. And, as if the Sox weren’t already clutch enough, today’s game will be held at home, on the beautiful U.S. Cellular Field! So far, the Sox are 35-31 and the Cubs are 22-44.

It’s no secret that these two teams have a feud that’s personal and goes wayyyyy back, but c’mon on… Just take a look at the picture. Who wouldn’t want to see this series? It’s like the whole “There’s only one sheriff in this town, and there ain’t no room for the both of us,” type deal. Yeah?

Chicago is kind of big, but personally, it’s not big enough for two teams, and the team that wins this series, gets those same bragging rights.

Who do you think is going to take it?

Do you rep your side, or is one team more of your favorite than the other?

Do you bleed black, grey and white, or red, white and blue?

Can’t make the game to see it in person? It’s okay, www.mlb.com and I got you!
