Baldur’s Gate 3 Wins GOTY

After a fierce competition from this year’s stacked catalog of video games, from Nintendo’s breathtaking The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, to the fast-paced Spider-Man 2, it turns out that Larion Studios’ very own Baldur’s Gate 3 was on top of them all, snagging Game of the Year. The game also won six other awards as well, such as Best RPG, Best Multiplayer, and more.

In fact, one of the voice actors, Neil Newbon, won an award for his performance as the character Astarion.

BG3 was a revolutionary title. It reinvented the way the gaming community viewed RPGs, with gameplay mechanics and story akin to the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons, and in my opinion, definitely deserved the win.
